Madeline is the prototype for the new 2008 smaller Ball- jointed dolls. She's 21", made of sturdy cotton with wooden ball joints at shoulders, knees and elbows. Her face is handpainted. She's wearing a vintage polka dotted dress with aqua leggings and pink Baby Gap shoes. Her hands are soft sculptured and covered in two layers of nylon "skin".
She comes to you clutching her pink fleece blanket.
She is completely one of a kind, signed and dated on her right foot.

Thomas
is 21", made of sturdy soft brown cotton with wooden ball joints at shoulders, knees and elbows.
His creation has been a long strange trip from the beginning!
He was inspired by an old photograph of a small African -American boy and his personality has been very strongly felt from the first stroke of paint.
He is wearing a vintage pale blue and white checked romper and old black leather strap shoes. He holds a quilt ball made of vintage fabric.
He is signed and dated on his right foot and is completely one of a kind. SOLD

Verena is Thomas' sister. She is 21" with ball joints at shoulders, knees and elbows, a handpainted face and handmade leather shoes. Her dress is a vintage cotton. Her hands are soft sculptured and covered in two layers of nylon "skin".

The Orpheline has been completed and is now available.
She is a one of a kind 26" Soft Sculpture
made with an internal wire skeleton, muscles and fat layers made of cotton batting, and a sculpted head covered in nylon and hand painted for realism. Her body process is shown on the body types page.
Her hair is human, not a wig but individual strands attached permanently. She is wearing a grey-blue handmade dress of wool, vintage slip and royal blue cape, tiny 14kt gold hoop earrings, handmade leather shoes and black cotton stockings.
She carries an antique key, but the reason why is a mystery which is explained in her upcoming hardbound book, a copy of which will be given to her new owner.
She is completely one of a kind as the mold for her head has been destroyed, and the first of her type that I have made.
