A wire skeleton is constructed using scale drawings, August 2008
The skeleton is wrapped in white yarn
Ribcage and major bones covered in felt, leg tendons attached with elastic
At this stage, a foil skull armature is attached temporarily to give an idea of head scale. and stomach is inserted under the ribcage.
Bulk is built up over ribcage and legs
Basic muscles built of batting are begun on legs
Back and glute muscles
Finished muscle and fat layers ready for skinning
First layer of pinkish nylon is pinned in place.
Second layer of nylon in a light tan
Finished skin layers

The sculpted head is attached and painted, one lock of angora yarn attached for skin tone match
